Method for Assessing Diabetes Management and Assessing Risk for Diabetes-related Complications
Background
Tulane University is actively seeking commercial entities to further develop and commercialize our novel test for diagnosing and monitoring diabetes
Applications
The invention provides a novel method for detecting and quantifying levels of A1c in the blood. The invention also provides methods of using the results to diagnose and monitor the progression of diabetes. Can be used to detect various A1c fractions. Can be used with various rapid immunoassay systems, including ELISAs. Can be used to detect and monitor other chronic conditions, such as glucose-mediated chronic vascular disease, Alzheimer’s, and sickle cell.
