Resources and Information About REDCap at Tulane University
REDCap is a secure web platform for building and managing online databases and surveys. REDCap's streamlined process for rapidly creating and designing projects offers a vast array of tools that can be tailored to virtually any data collection strategy.
REDCap provides automated export procedures for seamless data downloads to Excel and common statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, Stata, R), as well as a built-in project calendar, a scheduling module, ad hoc reporting tools, and advanced features, such as branching logic, file uploading, and calculated fields.

REDCap is available to Tulane University faculty, staff, students, and affiliates.
REDCap Request Forms
Training Account Request: needs to be completed if someone does not have a training account and wants to be added to the training instance.
Production Account Request: cannot be requested until pertinent training above has been completed. Once training is completed, if someone does not have a production account and wants to be added to the production instance.
Production-Ready Project Request: purpose is to move a project from the training server to the production server. Real research data can be entered only after the request is approved and the project moves to production.
