Research Electronic Data Capture
Remediation/Self-Assessment begins September 8, 2026
As part of Tulane’s ongoing efforts to strengthen data governance, privacy, and research compliance, all existing REDCap projects must undergo a required remediation review.
This initiative applies to projects housed in both the REDCap Training and Production Servers. Due to the volume and complexity of existing projects, remediation will be completed by study teams with technical assistance from the REDCap Administration team.
What You Need to Do
Beginning September 8, 2026, Principal Investigators/Study Leads and your teams will be responsible for reviewing all your REDCap projects and completing the required remediation steps outlined below. A deadline of November 1, 2026, has been set by the Vice President for Research for full completion of this required assessment and remediation process.
Complete information regarding the Remediation/Self-Assessment along with the REDCap Self-Assessment Implementation Plan can be found at the links below - Tulane Box login required.
