The Faculty IRB Advisory Committee acts as a bridge between the Tulane University Biomedical and Social/Behavioral IRBs, the Human Research Protection Office (HRPO), and the faculty and staff of relevant departments.
Our mission is threefold:
Facilitate Communication: We foster effective communication channels, ensuring seamless interaction between IRBs, HRPO, and faculty.
Provide Expert Advice: We serve as an educational resource for faculty, offering guidance on research ethics and compliance.
Strengthen Relationships: Our ultimate goal is to enhance collaboration and understanding among faculty, staff, and IRB/HRPO members.
