Matt Koenig JD

Matt's role at Tulane is Executive Director of Intellectual Property Management (OIPM). He and his OIPM team are responsible for overseeing material transfer, nondisclosure, and data use agreements within the Office of Research. Matt is also responsible for developing and implementing the protection and licensing strategy for Tulane's intellectual property portfolio within the Tulane University Innovation Institute.

Matt is a member of the Georgia State Bar, registered to practice with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and a certified licensing professional. Matt is a member of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), the Licensing Executives Society (LES), and AIPLA. Matt earned his undergraduate degree in Cellular Biology from the University of Georgia and Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky.
