Hydrophobically Modified Polypeptoids and Uses Thereof

Background

Tulane University is actively seeking commercial entities to further develop and commercialize a formulation of hydrophobically modified polypeptoids for applications including drug delivery and antimicrobics.

Applications

These modifications can be useful for delivering hydrophobic drugs via lipid raft, as well as disrupting bacterial membranes for antibacterial applications.

Current Work

This polypeptoids as drug carriers have been tested in vitro and a model drug was tested in a cytotoxicity assay.
